SPEAKER_13

Okay.

SPEAKER_08

Ladies and gentlemen, we ask that you please take your seats at this time as the program will begin momentarily. Thank you.

SPEAKER_09

Uplifting the airways, one dimple at a time. It's time for the Dimple Report. News, laughs, and Dimplified Moments with your host, founder, and chief doubles officer of National Dumples Day, Graceful Grady. Remember, dimples are more than a trait. They're a reason to celebrate. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Everywhere we look, we see incredible representation, from basketball to soccer, from football to television. And honestly, we couldn't ask for anything better than what we're involved in right now. So let's not waste any time.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_11

I'm Graceful Grady, founder of National Dimples Day, and this is the Dimple Report. Let's get started with what we call dimples in the headlines. What a finals we've been treated to. Once again, Dimples Nation is represented all across the basketball world. You got players with dimples making headlines, coaches with dimples leading teams, and stars throughout the league representing the Dimples Nation. Now, think about it. You got a rising superstar, the Victor Winman Yama, with those unmistakable dimples. You got Mike Brown, coach, the New York Knicks, also sporting cheek dimples. And the list just keeps going. Be sure to tune in tomorrow for Game 5 at 8.30 p.m. Now, let's move from the hardwood to the pitch. The FIFA World Cup is underway. And honestly, do I really need to say much more? Dimples Nation is front and center. You got Messi of Argentina with both cheek dimples and a cleft chin. Yes. Calm down, ladies. You got Mbappé of France representing also with cheek dimples and a cleft chin.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_11

Ladies, calm down. You got Polisic of United States and he has dimples.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_11

Alright. Okay, I give up. Anyway, that's just the beginning. In fact, stay tuned because later in today's show, we're going to spotlight a man whose vision helped make the World Cup what it is today. Trust me, you do not want to miss today's Dimple Spotlight or the song dedicated to our spotlight by Dimple Suave and the Dimplettes. Now let's switch gears to football. Patrick Mahomes, owner of those famous Indian dimples, also known as Whisker Dimples, has reportedly destructed his contract and remains one of the highest paid athletes in professional sports. Hey, dead. Hey dead. Hey dead. What, what, why, what, what, what, what, what? Have you heard the numbers? I mean, they're so large that every time I hear them, I have to double check how many zeros are involved. $64 million. And lastly, speaking of big contracts, Pat McAfee of ESPN, known for his cheek dimples and larger-than-life personality, is rumored to be in line for a massive deal approaching $60 million annually. $60 million a year for talking? Wait, wait, let me back that up.

SPEAKER_07

Rewind.

SPEAKER_11

For entertaining millions of people, building a media empire, creating jobs, and becoming one of the biggest personalities in sports media? Okay, okay, yeah, that sounds a lot better. Dimples Nation, if any of you happen to know someone with a spare $60 million lying around, please let them know that the Dimple Report is available for sponsorship. Please. I'm kidding. Mostly. And that's it for Dimples and the Headlines. When we come back, we will shine a spotlight on a man whose dream united the world through soccer and helped create the biggest sporting event on the planet. We will be right back. Hi.

SPEAKER_07

Cute dimples. Is that your best pickup line? No pickup line. Just complimenting your dimples. Did you know July 9th is National Dimples Day? Really? Yeah, they have a fun site and merchandise. Check it out. NationalDimplesday.com.

SPEAKER_13

NationalDimplesday.com? Got it.

SPEAKER_07

May I uh buy you a cup of coffee? I feel something brewing between us.

SPEAKER_06

Sure.

SPEAKER_11

Dimples Nation, welcome back to the Dimple Report, where the tagline is informative and entertaining. We've talked about today's stars, but now it's time to honor a man whose impact on sports is still felt around the globe. It's time for today's Dimple Spotlight. Today, we're shining a spotlight on FIFA founder and visionary Jules Vermey, a man whose vision changed sports forever. If you ever watched the FIFA World Cup, cheered for your favorite nation, or celebrated a dramatic game-winning goal, you have Jules Vermet to thank for that. Born in France in 1873, Jules Vermet believed soccer could do something very powerful, and that is bringing people together. He dreamed of a global tournament where nations from around the world could compete on the same field and celebrate the world's most popular sport. Many people thought the idea was completely impossible, but Rome never stopped believing. As president of FIFA, he helped launch the very first FIFA World Cup in 1930. What started with just 13 teams in Uruguay has grown into the biggest sporting event on earth and watched by billions of fans worldwide. And if you look at photographs of Jules Remey, you'll notice another distinctive feature. A prominent cleft chin, aka Butt Chen. Now, in 1958, a 17-year-old teenager from Brazil named Pele stepped into the world's biggest soccer stage. The youngstar dazzled fans scored in the World Cup final and helped Brazil win its first championship. To this day, Pele remains the youngest player ever to win a FIFA World Cup. Think about that. A dream that Jules Vermey imagined decades earlier gave the world a stage where a teenager could become an international legend. So today, we celebrate Jules Verme, a Cleft Chin pioneer. And every time the world gathers for FIFA World Cup, we're still living in his dream. With that said, we're going to take a commercial break, but you know what time it is. Grab your pen and a piece of paper. It's trivia time.

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_11

Born in 1914, Shikarian opened a small health food store in Pittsburgh in 1935. His first day's sales totaled $35. Let me repeat, just $35. Then, just a year later, devastating floods destroyed his stores. Now, most people would have quit. But David rebuilt and kept pushing forward. That determination paid off. Over the years, his small business grew into General Nutrition Centers, better known as GNC, one of the most recognizable health and wellness stores, or brands I should say, in America. Long before protein sheets and supplements became mainstream, David Shikarian believed people wanted to live healthier lives. His vision helped bring nutrition and wellness products to millions of customers. Members of Dipples Nation, David's story is a reminder that setbacks don't have to be permanent. Whether you're building a business, chasing a dream, like myself, or training for the next World Cup, persistence can make all the difference. David Shikarian, founder of GNC and owner of a distinctive cleft chin, is today's dimple drop. And now it's halftime. You know what that means. It's poetry time.

SPEAKER_03

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the show. Now it's dimple versus let the good vibes flow with grace for Granny on the mic so steady from the dimple report. And the poetry's dimple ready.

SPEAKER_11

Devil's nation. Let me grab my shades. One man drained, while others said no, yet planted the seeds that helped Sokka grow. The doubters are gone, but his vision remains. As the World Cup United Nations through goals in games.

SPEAKER_04

Yum, yummy. Yah yah, yah, yah, yah. Got them bugs, showing proud. One dim bugs, say it loud. Love them bugs, you belong. On the dimple report. Come seeing alone. Great for greedy on the mic. Under them right on the video. That's good for me. You got on the day. I didn't mic on the video. I didn't like the start. With my do what you want. I didn't put it forward. Every Friday one.

SPEAKER_02

That is the book report. Where's my feel the show? That did boom report. Where's my still the show?

SPEAKER_11

Alright, Dimples Nation, that was another edition of Dimple Versus, where we celebrate the poetry, personality, and the power of Dimples. Now it's time for film and TV Dimplified. This week's recommendation is a little different. Instead of a movie or a television show, I'm recommending one of the greatest spectacles on earth, the FIFA World Cup. Why? Because if you are a member of the Dimples Nation, the World Cup is basically the Super Bowl of dimples and cleft chins. From stars like, for example, Messi, Mbappe, Puristic, the tournament has featured no shortage of recognizable smiles. You get incredible goals, unforgettable moments, passionate fans, and enough dimples and cleft chins to keep even the most dedicated member of the Dimples Nation entertained. So, if you're looking for something to watch, kick back and enjoy the FIFA World Cup. We will be right back with everyone's favorite, my fantasy dimpled trap tea.

And now let's move from the soccer pitch to the hardwood for our fantasy dimple draftee of the week. This week's selection, I didn't have to go far because she's right here in my city. It's none other than Brianna Jones of the Atlanta Dream. She's a force in the paint, a rebounding machine, a WNBA champion, one of the toughest competitors in professional basketball, and most importantly, she sports some incredible cheek dimples. Brianna does all the little things to help teams win. She rebounds, she defends, she battles, and she never backs down from a challenge.
