SPEAKER_05As always, we're celebrating the beauty, culture, history, and the impact of dimples around the world. So let's not waste any time. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, dimples and the headlines. Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has landed one of the biggest honors in sports. He's the cover for Madden NFL 2026. Now, I know what many of you are asking, Caleb Williams has dimples? And that's because of all the facial hair. Well, after a very serious investigation conducted by my highly trained research team consisting of me, myself, and I, I can officially report that while Caleb may not have cheek dimples, he does have a clapped chin. Need to confirm? Head over to National Dimples Day or the Dimple Report on Instagram and check out the evidence for yourself. So, congratulations to Caleb Williams for becoming the face of one of the most iconic video games in sports. Next up, actress Jennifer Gardner. Yeah, that Jennifer Gardner with those deep cheek dimples is making headlines after opening up about her life and career in the latest issue of InStyle magazine. Of course, most of you know Jennifer from her hit movies, her work as a co-founder of Once Upon a Farm Organic Foods, and as the familiar face behind the famous Capital One question. What's in your wallet? Nah, that sounded too sexy. Uh, what's in your wallet? Nah, that sounded too thuggish. So anyway, Jennifer has long been one of Hollywood's most recognizable dimpled smiles. And if you'd like to learn more about her personal journey, be sure to pick up at the latest issue from InStyle magazine. Now, let's head to the baseball diamond. New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge, yeah, he has the cheek dimples, has suffered a significant injury that can sideline him for an unextended period. The Yankees announced that Judge has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of the first rib on his right side. The team expects Judge to undergo additional imaging in about four to six weeks, with hopes, fingers crossed, that he will return sometime later this season. For Yankees fans and baseball fans everywhere, we wish and Judge a full and speedy recovery. And finally, USA Women's Rugby star Ilona Marr is expanding her brand beyond the rugby pitch. Mara recently announced the launch of her own clothing collection in partnership with TJ Maxx, known for her personality, confidence, and growing influence both in sports and social media. Ilona continues to inspire fans around the world. Congratulations to Ilona Mara on her exciting new venture. And Dimple's Nation, that's your latest edition of Dimples in the Headlines. When we come back, we'll continue celebrating the people, stories, and the smiles that make Dimple's Nation one of the most unique communities anywhere. You're listening to the Dimple Report. We will be right back.
SPEAKER_00Hi, cute dimples.
SPEAKER_01Is that your best pickup line?
SPEAKER_00No pickup line. Just complimenting your dimples. Did you know July 9th is National Dimples Day? Really? Yeah, they have a fun site and merchandise. Check it out. NationalDimplesday.com.
SPEAKER_01Hmm. NationalDimplesday.com? Got it.
SPEAKER_00May I uh buy you a cup of coffee? I feel something brewing between us.
SPEAKER_10Sure.
SPEAKER_05Welcome back, Dimples Nation. Before we get to our Dimple Spotlight, I have to address something very important. As of this recording, National Dimples Day is just 33 days, 8 hours, 12 minutes, and 6 seconds away. The biggest day of the year for dimple lovers everywhere is getting closer and closer. Now, as we approach National Dimples Day, something always happens. We start running into a few people who just can't stand dimples. In fact, last week I played a rather passionate and unintentionally hilarious rant from someone who apparently had some very strong feelings about people with dimples. Well, for those who missed it, I'm going to play it one more time. Now remember, here at the Dimple Report, we believe in kindness and understanding. So after the rant, we're not going to argue with them. We're not going to fight with them. We're not even going to debate them. Instead, we're going to pray for them. And because this is Dimple's Nation, we're gonna do it the only way we know how. Lyrically. And no, it's not Dimple Suave and the Dimplettes. They're getting ready for our next segment and their special tribute to Lena. This time I'm calling on the choir. Dimple's Praise and Worship Choir. So let's listen to the rant one more time.
SPEAKER_01I love everyone except a very specific group of people. They make my my skin itch, irritate my soul. It does all boil down to the fact that I'm hating, but it doesn't matter because I can't stand them. And that group of people, those are people with dimples. The first reason is when you're talking to a person, just having a regular conversation with a person with dimples. They don't look you head on. They turn just enough for you to get a clear shot of the dimple. There's no winning an argument with a person who has a dimple. No matter what I say back, no matter even if I'm in tears, I'm always gonna be the bad guy because they look like cherub angels next to me.
SPEAKER_10Oh yeah. We're blessed today.
SPEAKER_13National Timples Day Timples Praise Worship Some people stare, some people talk, some don't understand the way we walk. Cheek dimples, chin dimples shining bright, back dimples and more. We're walking in the light. We understand there are some who don't like people with dimples, some may not understand our smile, but we're not here to argue all complaining. We're gonna praise the Lord. You've been kissed by an angel, but a beautiful thing. Hallelujah. And we're giving God The Fresh National Dimples Day. The temple we put Dimples everywhere. We've been kissed by an angel, blessed by our Savior. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Amen.
SPEAKER_05Now, if you listened to last week's episode, you may remember that I gave you a clue about this week's featured guest. I mentioned a woman with beautiful cheek dimples, an unforgettable voice, and a connection to one of Hollywood's most famous leading men. Well, the wait is over. This week's Dimple Spotlight shines on the legendary Lena Horn. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 30th, 1917, Lena Horn became one of the most talented and influential entertainers of the 20th century. She started performing as a teenager at Harlem's famous cotton club and quickly gained attention for her stunning voice, elegance, and stage presence. Before long, as they say, Hollywood came a calling. Lena became one of the first black performers to sign a long-term contract with MGM Studios, a major achievement during a time when opportunities for black entertainers were extremely limited. She appeared in films, performed around the world, and became famous for her signature song, Stormy Weather. Whenever you can, Dimple's Nation, check it out. Now, Lena's story is about much more than music and movies. She was also a pioneer who challenged discrimination whenever she encountered it. One of the most remarkable examples happened away from the stage. In the 1940s, Lena purchased a home in an upscale California neighborhood. Some residents were unhappy because she was black. That's when an unexpected ally stepped forward. Ladies and gentlemen, actor Humphrey Bogart, famous for his distinctive cleft chin, and of course, classic films like Casablanca, along with his wife, Lauren Bacall, supported Lena's right to live wherever she chose. According to accounts from the time, Bogart confronted those who opposed her and made it clear that discrimination against Lena Horn would not be tolerated. Hmm, so that's where that term came from. Anyway, that's the kind of friend everyone deserves. Now, Lena continued breaking barriers throughout her career. She refused to perform before segregated audiences and became an important voice in the civil rights movement. Her carriage helped pave the way for future generations of entertainers. And here at the Dimple Report, we can't help but appreciate those adorable cheek dimples. Whether she's singing, acting, speaking out for equality, or dazzling audiences with her smile, Lena Horn showed the world that talent, determination, and a little dimple power can leave a lasting mark on history. Lena Horn passed away in 2010 at the age of 92. But her music, her activism, and her unforgettable smile continue to inspire people around the world. It's time for a commercial break, but grab your pen and a piece of paper. You know what time it is. It's trivia time.
SPEAKER_10Oh darling. When you smile at me, there's a magic in the air. Those little dimples on your cheeks. Tim for me. Temple me true. Every little card just push me in July night. We celebrate. National Temple's Day, so don't be late before the temple store.

SPEAKER_12Yeah. Everybody talked about the voice. But those cheek dimples, man, they had a choice. Walk them through my eyes locked in. Cool as that with the Hollywood brand. Walk them on the world was birds. That wrinkled smooth every word of birds. Tell me what that you see on that lane. And the little sunshine in the porn ring. That's how great song. And it's not that good. She got double, she got so. She got a voice that go back and go. She got back, she got great. She left a mouthful of place. Hey, Lena, do your thing. The whole world still feels your swine. Some people said no. Lena said a watch.
SPEAKER_11She tried to close doors. She picked every lot. Standing tall when the times got a rough. So in the world she was more than tough.
SPEAKER_12Oh god, don't wanna brush her things. Standing the back, don't run changing the game. That's real cool, that's real fast. That's the kind of store we built to last. She got a store, she got a voice, that go back and go. She got swag up, she got brake. She left a mark all over the place. Do your thing. The whole world still feels your thing.
SPEAKER_11Now, graceful gradient's got the spotlight on. Founder and National Dimples Day. Carrying on, on, on, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_13Dimple spotlight.
SPEAKER_12Lead on horn.
SPEAKER_13Smooth.
SPEAKER_12Cool. Timeless.
SPEAKER_05Welcome back, Dimple's Nation. And now it's time for another segment where we celebrate people whose accomplishments prove that age is just a number. It's time for Dimple Drop. Today's Dimple Drop features a young woman who became famous while still a teenager and changed sports history forever. Her name was Gertrude Etherley. Born in New York City, Gertrude showed incredible swimming talent at a very young age. By her teenage years, she was already winning national championships and representing the United States in international competitions. But in 1926, at just 19 years old, she accomplished something many experts believed was completely impossible. Gertrude Etterley became the first woman to successfully swim across the English Channel. Not only did she complete the journey, she finished faster than every man who had crossed before her. Now, think about that for a moment. A teenager swimming through rough waters, battling cold temperatures, ignoring doubters, and making history. Millions followed her achievement. And when she returned home, New York City welcomed her with a massive parade. Gertrude Adderley reminds us that greatness doesn't wait for permission. Sometimes all it takes is determination, courage, and the willingness to keep moving forward. And that, Dimple's Nation, is today's dimple drop. We will be right back after this commercial break.
SPEAKER_02Cheek dimples, sweet and fine. So bold, that perfect line. Back dimples, ooh, they shine. Every curve, every smile, divine. Confidence, that's a core. Style and love we give you more. Flaunch your dimples that redoor to your charm at the dimple store. Every dimple, every dimple deserves a shine. The dimple store the car.
SPEAKER_08Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the show. Now it's dimple verses. Let the good vibes flow with graceful Granny on the mic so steady from the dimple report and the poetry's dimple ready.
SPEAKER_05All right, dimples nation, let me grab my shades. A tiny mark, yet bright as day. A joyful smile that lights the way. This week's recommendation is the hit television series Ted Lasso, the showstars actor and comedian Jason Sudakis, who many members of the Dimples Nation may recognize for his cheeky dimples and the smile. Ted Lasso follows an American football coach who unexpectedly finds himself coaching a professional soccer team in England despite having very little experience with the sport. What follows is a funny, heartwarming, and surprisingly inspiring story about leadership, kindness, teamwork, and believing in people. The series became one of television's biggest success stories because it proves that positivity can be powerful. If you're looking for a show that makes you laugh, make you think, and leave you feeling better than when you started, Ted Lasso deserves a spot on your watch list. And that's a wrap for this week's edition of Film and TV Dimplified. We will be right back with everyone's favorite, my fantasy dimpled draftee.
SPEAKER_09One them bugs, say it loud. Love them bugs, you belong. On the dimple report, come sing along. Graceful grady on the mic. I did the mic a bit, I leave in the light. One name starts with smile to a door. A different report every Friday one. A different report, where's my still show? A dimple report. Where's Miles feel the show?
SPEAKER_05Welcome back, Dimple's Nation. Now, for those of you who are new to the Dimple Report, I don't simply pick my favorite player. I don't pick players because they're popular. And I definitely don't pick them because they have dimples. I pick players who I believe are positioned to have a great game. This week's fantasy dimple draftee is none other than dimpled NBA superstar Victor Wimbanyama, better known to fans simply as Wimby. Standing at an incredible height and possessing skills rarely seen in a player his size, Wimby continues to redefine what is possible on a basketball court. So, no, I'm not picking him because he's my favorite. I'm picking him because I expect him to put together a monster performance. It's almost a must-win situation. So, that's it, Dipples Nation, my fantasy dimpled draft tea.
