Ladies and gentlemen, we ask that you please take your seats at this time as the program will begin momentarily. Thank you. Uplifting the airways, one dimple at a time. It's time for the Dimple Report. News, laughs, and dimplified moments with your host, founder, and chief doubles officer of National Doubles Day, Graceful Grady. Remember, dimples are more than a trait. They're a reason to celebrate. Oh Yeah.
SPEAKER_03This is where we spotlight, smiles, swagger, and those standout dimples across business sports and entertainment. Now I'm your host, Grace for Grady, and today we're stepping onto the diamond. Some ask, why would anyone step onto a diamond? Well, that's not exactly what I meant. This week is a very special week. Let me see if I can make it any easier for you. I tell you what, here's a hit. This should give you an idea of what is happening all this week. This is where the kids have a great time when they at the ballpark. And for the adults, go. Well, that's another story. Anyway, all eyes are gonna be on one powerhouse team. Drum roll, please. My Baltimore Orioles. What's that? Hold on. What was that? Okay, I apologize to everyone. I was corrected. This powerhouse team is on the West Coast, and they go by the name the Los Angeles Dodgers. Now, I'm going to explain to everyone why the dimple spotlight is on them. Now, I'm going to do this right after this commercial break.
SPEAKER_04Hi, cute dimples.
SPEAKER_10Is that your best pickup line?
SPEAKER_04No pickup line. Just complimenting your dimples. Did you know July 9th is National Dimples Day? Really? Yeah, they have a fun site and merchandise. Check it out. NationalDimplesday.com.
SPEAKER_07Hmm. National Dimplesday.com? Got it.
SPEAKER_04May I uh buy you a cup of coffee? I feel something brewing between us.
SPEAKER_07Sure.
SPEAKER_03Welcome back, everyone. Now, let's get into today's dimple spotlight. As I was saying, the Dodgers aren't just stacked with talent. They might be one of the most dimple dominant teams in baseball history. And the big question, can they become the first National League team to win not one, not two, but three straight World Series titles? Bruh. Yeah, yeah, that's right. A three Pete. It's rare. We're talking legendary territory. And if anyone has the firepower and the dimpled features to do it, it might just be this squad. Let's break down the dimple lineup. And first up, we have Freddie Freeman. Smooth swing, MVP level consistency. And let's not ignore the signature cleft chin. That's not just a feature, that's leadership carved in stone. Now Freeman brings veteran presence and clutch performance. If the Dodgers go all the way again, expect his name to be right in the middle of it.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_03Coming up to bat, we have Johei Otani. Now, this is a generational talent. We have pitcher, hitter, global icon, and yes, rocking a cleft chin that's just as elite as his game. Now Otani doesn't just change games, he changes expectations. If he stays healthy, he could be the biggest reason this 3P conversation becomes reality.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_03And then you have next, Yoshinobu, Yamamoto, Electric Arms, Precision Control. He got off to a rocky start in the first inning yesterday, but still came out as a winner. Now, he's representing internationally with what we call an Indian dimple, also known as a whiskered dimple. That subtle cheek indentation is rare, and so is his pitching ability. And Yamamoto could be the X factor that takes this team from great to historic. Yes. So the million-dollar question: can the Dodgers actually pull this off? They got the talent, and clearly they got the dimples. Baseball is unpredictable, so you have injuries, pressure, competition, all standing in the way. Still, if dimples are a sign of greatness, this team might already be smiling at history. It's time for a commercial break, but be sure to grab a pen and a piece of paper. You know what time it is. It's trivia time.
SPEAKER_07Cheek dimples, sweet and fine. Shinzo pulled that perfect line. Back dimples, ooh, they shine. Every curve, every smile, divine. Confidence, that's the core. Style in love we give you more. Flaunch your dimples, there adored. Chew your charm at the dimple store. Every dimple, every dimple deserves to shine. The dimple stars a cat.
SPEAKER_03All right, dimples nation. Welcome back. You know what time it is. It's quiz time. Here we go. Let's test your dimple report knowledge. Question number one. What type of dimples does Freddie Freeman have? A. Cheek dimples. B. Cleft chin. C Dimples of Apollo. Or D. No dimples. The correct answer is The correct answer is B. Cleft chin. Question number two. Shohei Otani is known for being A. Only a pitcher. B. Only a hitter. Or C a two-way player with a cleft chin. And finally, D. A coach. The correct answer is The correct answer is C, a two-way player with a cleft chin. And finally, question number three. And the final question. What unique dimple does Yoshinobu Yamamoto have on him? A. A chin dimple? B Double cheek dimples. C Indian whisker dimple or D back dimples? The correct answer is C. Indian slash whisker dimple. So that's all for today's segment of the dimple spotlight. But keep your eyes on the Dodgers this season because history might be in the making, as my man Rico says, one dimple at a time. Now, as you know, I like to dedicate a song for every dimple spotlight. And today is for the game of baseball. But I must warn you, you will be bombing your head to this song. 3, 2, 1.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Baseball season back again. This one goes out to every dimple player in the league. The voice of it all. Graceful Grady. The dimple report. Yeah, that's right.
SPEAKER_11Opening day, here the crowd ignite. Lets crack loud on the stadium lights. From coast to coast, everything got dreams. October visions in the scenes. Out in LA, yeah, the spotlight stays. Dodger blue in the championship haze. Freddy Freeman with the swings go clean. Fleft chin shining in the MVP scene. Steady that first day before the grind. Every touch day one over kind of tasting story. Every squad got fight. Every C D got stars. And the five lights on the East Two Last Yeah, the energy bright. Only one thing standing on the town. Yeah, the channel. Yeah, we see the base of the box. Bring the base ball. Dimples on the top. See what the bathy found dimples that just find the nails to the place. Blow when he stepped in place. Oh we're watching the bath. Yes, you're read the fine fat. Every light with the lights, something but it is that's the bat, what do you do? Yeah, it's got everything that five. Yumma bottle on the mouth, yet the bullshit real tight. When you dealin' that's stripe, fishing them power yet a balance to the beat. That is getting wrong. So the bitches got the face that we in the bitch got the competitive fast. The whole scene, just the whole lead stacked with dimple dreams on the Oreos draw to the West Coast blow. Different paths, but they all chasing gold. One sixteen tool, and the story unfolds. Only one champion, that's all but it's gold and it's gold. Every single one, simple place gone, and every stun. Every spot got a story being told. Every swing chasing rings made of gold. The sound of the staisy. That's the legacy.
SPEAKER_02Dimples on the diamond. And the story continues.
SPEAKER_03Alright, alright. That was Dimples on the Diamond. Showing love to players across the league today. But now it's time to take it back. Way back. Welcome to the Dimple Drop segment. This is where we highlight legends, icons, and timeless dimple greatness. And today we're talking about one of the greatest to ever step onto the baseball field. None other than Babe Ruth. Now when you hear the name Babe Ruth, you think power, you think home runs, you think of a man who didn't just play baseball, he transformed it. Nicknamed the Sultan of SWAT. This man was baseball before baseball became what it is today. But here's something special for me. Babe Ruth was born in Baltimore. That's right. B-More, stand up. Same roots, same city, same foundation. And for all my Baltimore people listening, you already know that's a different kind of pride. Now, of course, we gotta talk dimples. Because Babe Ruth wasn't just swinging for the fences, he was doing it with a cleft chin. That classic, strong, unmistakable feature, the kind that adds character, presence, and in his case, legendary status. It's the exact same kind of dimple we see today on players like Freddie Freeman and Shohei Otani. So when we talk dimple greatness in baseball, it didn't just start today, it goes all the way back to Babe Ruth. 714 home runs, seven World Series titles, and a legacy that still echoes through every ballpark in America. Babe Ruth wasn't just a player, he was a movement, a symbol of greatness, and yes, a proud representative of Dimple history. From Baltimore beginnings to baseball immortality, Babe Ruth reminds us that greatness never fades. And on the Dimple Report, we make sure the dimples never go unnoticed. It's halftime, everyone, so you know what that means. It's poetry reading time. But first, this commercial break.
SPEAKER_08Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the show. Now it's dimple versus let the good vibes flow with graceful Granny on the mic so steady from the dimple report and the poetry's dimple ready.
SPEAKER_03Welcome back, Dimples Nation. Let me grab my shades. Dimples on the diamond, where legends are made. From Baltimore roots to bright stadium shade. A smile tells a story no stat sheet can prove. And every great player, there's a dimpled groove.
SPEAKER_09Oh, darling, when you smile at me, there's a magic in the air. Those little dimples on your cheeks. I could follow anywhere that's sweet. How it's still midnight. Just push me. So don't be late before.
SPEAKER_03This is where I recommend a TV show or film led by people with dimples. Let's take it back to a classic 1976. The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings. This film is a celebration of baseball, charisma, and culture. Just listen to this lineup. You got Billy D. Williams as the smooth and confident Bingo Long, bringing swagger both on and off the field. Then there's James Earl Jones, delivering strength and presence with every single scene. Just like his voice, powerful and unforgettable. And of course, the electrifying Richard Pryor, who, by the way, had a cleft chin, bringing humor, heart, and that signature energy that can steal the show. So understand, it's more than a baseball movie. It's about freedom, showmanship, and rewriting the rules of the game. And in true dimple report fashion, it reminds us that personality, presence, and yes, even a great smile can steal the show anywhere. Stay with us. Coming up next, everyone's favorite, my fantasy dimpled draftee.
SPEAKER_10Real cap shot. Yo, yo, yo. Yah yah yah ya. Got them bugs, show them proud. One dim bugs, say it loud. Love them bugs, you be loud. Under them boo the board. Come see the law. Where's my feel the show? Where's my show?
SPEAKER_03Alright, we covered the legends. We celebrated the culture. Now it's time to build something of our own. Welcome to my final segment called Fantasy Dimpled Draftees. And with my pick, I'm going with Drumroll Please. Bo Bichette of the New York Mets. Bichette stepping into a major new role this season. After years as a shortstop, the Mets have moved him over to third base, and that's been one of the biggest storylines coming into this season. Bichette brings a proven bat to this lineup, a career hitter around 290 with over 100 home runs and all-star pedigree. And the Mets, well, they didn't bring him in quietly. He signed a three-year$126 million deal, showing they believe he can be the centerpiece of this new look roster. And speaking of looks, Bobachet has a cleft chin. So that's my pick. And that wraps up today's lineup on the Dimple Report. From dimples on the diamond to legends, culture, and the future of the game, we've covered it all.
